Essential Oils: Metabolic Blend

I like calling it the metabolic blend better than “slim & sassy” since this oil is for allll of the metabolisms…not just the most sassy of us (lol).  This blend has detoxing, fat burning, cell energy increasing and  inflammation reducing properties you need to amp up any lifestyle. Inhale a little of this, and apply to pulse points before a meal to help prevent overeating, and curb your appetite. Put a drop on your hands and inhale, and apply to back of the neck for a mid-day pick me up! Dilute or apply neat along your spine and on the back of your neck before exercising to increase fat burn, but also keep you cool and energized throughout your work out! It totally gives a “zing” feel to your body when you do! All essential oils create one form or another of emotional support since they’re so effective in reaching the limbic system of the brain, and this specific blend is amazing to cheer up, perk up, and energize your mind!

About the constituents:

LEMON: Lemon is an amazing oil to have while you’re trying to reach your physical goals. Lemon works with your lymphatic system to cleanse, detoxify, and rejuvenate! Lemon essential oil can help increase your energy levels, support your metabolism, and suppress fat accumulation.

GRAPEFRUIT: Grapefruit is a natural stress reliever, it is high in antioxidants, it also has anti-carcinogenic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is becoming more and more well known that this is one of the best oils to address weight gain, help defeat sugar cravings, and even fight hangover symptoms. The oil works with your body to activate enzymes that help break down body fat.

GINGER: Ginger oil is a great one to use as it helps curb sugar cravings and addresses inflammation. When there inflammation in the body it lowers your ability to absorb nutrients and its important to address if you’re trying to lose weight. Ginger oil contains compounds called Gingerols which are said to reduce disease causing inflammation and improve over all apsorbtion of the nutrients you put into your body.

PEPPERMINT: Peppermint is not only a great immune booster, it works wonders with your digestion and metabolism. Peppermint can help curb your appetite when inhaled or ingested it can prevent overeating and help create that full feeling as well as aiding in digestion. Peppermint is one of (if not the) most energizing essential oils there is as well as being a great anti-inflammatory and lymphatic cleansing oil.

CINNAMON: Last but definitely not least, we have cinnamon essential oil. This oil is especially important in helping regulate your blood sugar levels. Irregular blood sugar levels can cause a lack of energy, slow your metabolism, and lead to overeating and weight gain. Cinnamon essential oil can boost your metabolism and lower appetite but breaking down sugars and turning them into energy instead of fat.
